ITINERARY:
DAY 1: CHENGDU
You will be met on arrival in Chengdu today and transferred to your hotel. Time permitting you will be taken on a short city tour before spending the remainder of the day at leisure.
DAY 2: TANGJIAHE RIVER NATURE RESERVE
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Tangjiahe River Nature Reserve. Your journey will see you travelling through the Sichuan Basin, with wonderful scenery to pass the time away. You will arrive into Tangjiahe village later in the afternoon where you will have a chance to learn about the Nature Reserve. BLD
DAY 3-5: TANGJIAHE RIVER NATURE RESERVE
The next few days will be spent in the Nature Reserve with a local guide, searching for a variety of species. The reserve offers a protected habitat for the Panda as well as the Golden Monkey and Blue Sheep (antelope) but to name a few. BLD, BLD, BLD
DAY 6: FOPING NATURE RESERVE
You will travel by land today from Tangjiahe River Nature Reserve to Foping Nature Reserve. Your journey will see you travelling across the Qinling Mountain and Hanzhong Basin. More dramatic scenery makes this a pleasant journey. BLD
DAY 7-9: FOPING NATURE RESERVE
The next few days will be spent exploring Foping Nature Reserve, home to the Panda, Golden Monkey, Blue Sheep, Leopard and more. With the assistance of a local naturalist guide you will have ample opportunities to spot as many species as possible during your time here. BLD, BLD, BLD
DAY 10: XIAN
You will travel to the ancient city of Xian today. On arrival the afternoon will be spent at leisure. BLD
DAY 11: DEPARTURE
After breakfast this morning your tour will conclude. B
