ITINERARY:
 
  
DAY 1: ARUSHA
You will be met at Kilimanjaro airport and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. The remainder of the day will be spent at leisure.
  
DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you will be briefed on your forthcoming safari before departing for Tarangire National Park. In the afternoon enjoy a game drive within the National Park. Tarangire offers wide panoramas of open acacia woodland and grass savanna where huge herds of elephants and other residents such as lion, cheetah and leopard reside. BLD
  
DAY 3: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you will venture out on another morning game drive in Tarangire National Park before heading on to Ngorongoro Crater in the afternoon. Your journey will see you passing through colourful villages. BLD
  
DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER
After an early breakfast you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game viewing safari. This oval shaped Crater is a safe haven for some of Africa's finest wildlife. All the big five are present and so placid you can move amongst them. In the afternoon you will ascend the crater with clouds rolling over the rim like a misty waterfall. BLD
   
DAY 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast this morning you will travel to the Serengeti National Park where you will be spending the next 3-days. Your journey will be a game drive via the Ngorongoro Conservation area through Malanja Depression into the Serengeti National Park. BLD
  
DAY 6 & 7: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy two days of morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti National Park. It is one of the greatest game sanctuary in the world, fantastic in its natural beauty and scientific value. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife species, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephant, buffalo and more. BLD, BLD
  
DAY 8: OLDUVAI GORGE
After breakfast you will leave Serengeti National Park behind, enjoying a game drive as you travel to Olduvai Gorge via Simba Kopjes. Visit the museum where the famous Zinj skull is kept, the Zinjanthropus man of 1.8 million years ago whose remains were found by Dr. Louis Leaky. If time permits you will visit a local Masai Village before proceeding to Lake Manyara, stopping en route at a view point where you will see Ngorongoro Crater. BLD
  
DAY 9: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Today you will venture out on a morning and afternoon game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania's most attractive National Parks. It contains a variety of habitats and diverse animals and birds. Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions and numerous migratory birds. BLD
  
DAY 10: ARUSHA
