The importance of heat and ventillation while travelling
Pets can soon suffer if there is poor ventillation or they get too hot. Make sure that there is adequate ventilation in the pet’s travelling area, especially if the weather is warm. Don’t allow the temperature in the car to rise above 25 º C. The interior of a car can rapidly rise above this in sunny weather. It is dangerous to leave an animal in a stationary car in hot weather—even with a window open. Cats and dogs will quickly suffer from heat stroke.
